Vision and Values

Vision and Values

Life in all its fullness

Our school is guided by our core Christian values of:

  • Love and community

  • Courage and perseverance

  • Friendship and respect

  • Curiosity and wisdom

We will support the spiritual, moral, social and emotional, physical and intellectual development of our children and the wider school community as we grow and develop a love of learning together in a happy, safe, healthy and stimulating environment.

As an academy school which is part of the Diocese of Ely Multi-Acacdemy Trust we also share its vision and values. For more details of these please visit the DEMAT website at http://www.demat.org.uk.

Below are some comments from our Parent Survey 2019

“My children have developed a love of learning and good learning behaviours. The school has encouraged their social and emotional development as much as academic performance and they are well rounded individuals who understand the importance of contributing to the community they live in.”

“The teachers are good, the growth mindset is great and the Church of England background, including prayers are something we hugely value.”

“The Christian ethos is taught well and children are happy and well behaved. Staff are approachable, teaching standards are high. This is a brilliant school.”

“The environment is good. Children like school and I feel they are safe at school.”

“Each individual teacher clearly cares deeply about the children in their class and wants each one to be secure and happy and achieve their potential. I think what goes on in classrooms during teaching sessions is excellent.”

"The community feel is lovely. The expectations (academic) are high and my child talks about the curriculum with enthusiasm. - teachers make it fun."
