Year 6 had a Mayan banquet, sharing food and chat as well as looking back at the things they'd learnt in their History topic. Headdresses were worn and filled the classroom with colour. Apparently, the most important Mayans had the most elaborate and highly decorated headdresses. The children brought in food that the Mayans would have eaten - there was guacamole, tortilla, dips and spices galore though the chilli chocolate was more popular with some than others.
